This easy candy corn bark with white chocolate and pretzels is a quick, sweet-and-salty Halloween treat that comes together in about 20 minutes. It’s perfect for parties, gifting, or satisfying a nostalgic craving.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces white chocolate melting wafers (e.g., Ghirardelli or Wilton)
  • 1 ½ cups candy corn (e.g., Brach’s)
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists, roughly crushed
  • ¼ teaspoon flaky sea salt (optional)
  • ¼ cup orange candy melts (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Line a half-sheet baking sheet (13×18 inches) with parchment paper, extending up the sides. Smooth out wrinkles.
  2. Place mini pretzel twists in a Ziploc bag and gently crush with hands or a measuring cup to a mix of dime-sized pieces and smaller crumbs. Set aside.
  3. Place white chocolate melting wafers in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until mostly melted with a few lumps. Stir until smooth. Do not overheat.
  4. Pour melted white chocolate onto prepared baking sheet. Use a rubber spatula to spread into an even rectangle about ¼-inch thick. Work quickly.
  5. While chocolate is still wet, sprinkle crushed pretzels evenly over surface. Scatter candy corn on top, pressing each piece gently into the chocolate. Work in sections.
  6. If using orange candy melts, melt them in a small bowl using the same 30-second interval method. Transfer to a Ziploc bag, snip a tiny corner, and drizzle over the bark.
  7. Place baking sheet in refrigerator and let set for 20-30 minutes, until chocolate is completely firm and no longer sticky.
  8. Once set, lift parchment paper off baking sheet. Place bark on a cutting board and break into irregular 2-3 inch pieces with your hands.

Notes

Use white chocolate melting wafers, not chips, for smoothest melt. Have all toppings measured and ready before melting chocolate. Work quickly as white chocolate sets fast. For best results, let bark set in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. Freezes well for up to 3 months.
