A quick, no-bake dessert dip featuring whipped cream cheese, sweet caramel sauce, and tart Granny Smith apples. Perfect for autumn gatherings and requiring zero pastry skills.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Graham crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. Remove cream cheese from the fridge 30 minutes before starting to ensure it is softened. Cut into cubes to help it soften faster.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat on medium-high speed for 2-3 minutes until pale, fluffy, and completely smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream while the mixer is running on low. Increase speed to medium and beat for another 1-2 minutes until the mixture is light and airy.
  4. Remove the bowl from the mixer. Gently fold in half of the caramel sauce using a spatula, creating ribbons of caramel throughout. Reserve the rest for drizzling.
  5. Peel and dice the apples into small, bite-sized cubes. Toss them with the cinnamon to coat evenly.
  6. Gently fold the cinnamon-dusted apples into the cream cheese mixture, being careful not to mash them.
  7. Transfer the dip to a shallow serving bowl. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and the dip to thicken before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps. Do not overmix the apples to maintain texture. The dip is best served chilled and keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days. Do not freeze as the texture will change.
