Instructions

  1. Make the Pumpkin Spice Syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup water and 1 cup granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add Pumpkin and Spices: Stir in 3 tbsp pumpkin puree, 1 tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp nutmeg, ¼ tsp cloves, and ¼ tsp ginger. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from Heat and Add Vanilla: Take the syrup off the stove and stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract. Let cool to room temperature before transferring to a jar. Refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
  4. Prepare Cold Brew Coffee: Dilute concentrate with water to taste (usually 1:1 ratio). Chill before serving.
  5. Set Up the Coffee Bar: Arrange cold brew, pumpkin spice syrup, milk/cream options, ice cubes, and toppings on a table. Provide spoons or stirrers.
  6. Serving Instructions: Start with 8 oz (240 ml) cold brew coffee, add 1-2 tbsp pumpkin spice syrup (to taste), top with milk or cream, add ice cubes and preferred toppings like whipped cream and cinnamon dusting.
  7. Clean Up Tips: Keep napkins and a small tray handy for drips and spills. Keep extra ice nearby for refills.

Notes

Make syrup in larger batches for crowds. Use coffee ice cubes to avoid dilution. Fresh spices improve flavor. Keep ingredients chilled for best taste. Customize coffee-to-milk ratios to preference. Syrup keeps refrigerated up to 2 weeks.
