These easy turkey and cheese pinwheel wraps are the perfect lunchbox solution—quick to make, hold up all day without sogginess, and kids love the fun spiral shape. Made with a seasoned cream cheese spread, deli turkey, and provolone cheese, they’re a crowd-pleaser for all ages.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-sized, about 10 inches)
  • 8 slices deli turkey breast
  • 4 slices provolone cheese (or Swiss, cheddar, mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  2. Lay one large flour tortilla flat on a cutting board. If cold, warm in the microwave for 10-15 seconds until pliable.
  3. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla, going all the way to the edges.
  4. Place 2 slices of turkey breast flat on the cream cheese-covered tortilla, overlapping slightly if needed. Top with 1 slice of provolone cheese. If using, sprinkle spinach and shredded carrots evenly over the cheese.
  5. Starting from one edge, tightly roll the tortilla into a log, keeping the filling tucked in. Press gently to seal the seam.
  6. Place the rolled tortilla seam-side down on a piece of plastic wrap. Wrap tightly, twisting the ends to secure. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
  7. Refrigerate the wrapped rolls for at least 30 minutes to firm up the cream cheese.
  8. After chilling, unwrap each roll and place on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, slice into 1-inch thick rounds (about 6-8 pinwheels per tortilla). Use a gentle sawing motion.
  9. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid tearing tortillas. Chilling before slicing is crucial for neat pinwheels. Use a sharp serrated knife for clean cuts. The pinwheels taste even better the next day as flavors meld. For best results, don’t overfill the tortillas.
